Forster plays an aging diamond salesman with a heart condition forced to train a brash, young, inexperienced kid (Wahlberg) and they clash almost immediately. Through a series of mishaps, the two begin to grow on each other and develop a bond while traveling the roads of Pennsylvania. Diamond Men is filled with action, pathos, suspense, intrigue and unexpected twists and turns. The characters (impeccably portrayed by Forster and Wahlberg with Jasmine Guy and Bess Armstrong), plot and incredible conclusion make this film as elusive and irresistible as a diamond itself.
