But in spite of a broken-down car, a dead pet, a toy that can’t be found, a love that can’t happen - it is the season to be jolly and people try as they can! Bender has crafted a deeply human holiday tale with carefully woven scenes and has guided his wonderful ensemble cast through them with great poignancy and tenderness.
