This Long Island-made film recounts the events and personal interactions that take place over the course of a weekend in which Charles, an upstanding and trustworthy restaurant owner, is reunited with his estranged and apparently irresponsible older sister, Annie, who returns home from out of town because of her failing marriage. Add a high school reunion (that Charles is dreading) and the return of a high school love interest that never developed, and you have the ingredients for Morillo’s engaging and often humorous first feature film.
