He seeks counsel from an oddball band of characters including his best friend, a veterinarian and a psychiatrist. With bits of comic relief supplied from this highly unusual situation, Bark examines the desperation of a man dealing with his wife’s mental illness and questions if existing in a world of giving and receiving unconditional love is such a terrible idea.
