Written and directed by Melissa Martin. Produced by Adrienne Wehr. The Bread, My Sweet, is a warm and wonderful feature film debut from director Melissa Martin. Scott Baio stars as Dominic Pyzola, a man leading a double life, as a sensitive, caring manager of a biscotti company and as a hotshot corporate executive. As his two worlds collide, Dominic must choose between his love of family and culture and climbing the corporate ladder. Set in the Italian section of Pittsburgh’s Strip District, The Bread, My Sweet is a story of love and sacrifice in a place where work is hard and people believe that sometimes doing something outrageous is better than doing nothing at all. Also starring Kristin Minter (TV’s ER) and Rosemary Prinz.
