Rhythm of the Saints examines the loss of innocence in an inner city world riddled with struggle, hatred, anger and abuse. Through rituals of rhythm and spiritual cleansing, Zane and Raina attempt to create their own freedom and escape from the oppression and violation of their daily lives. They are two young souls living way beyond their time, and ultimately trapped by the system they long to leave. The film highlights the power of love, the sacrifices of family and the complexity of a community seeking justice. Directed by Sarah Rogacki. Written and produced by Cyn Canel Rossi.
