Passholders can join us for a panel of filmmakers whose films are screening at the 2004 Stony Brook Film Festival, along with their newly-acquired distributors who are releasing their films. Find out the in-depth stories of the making of these exciting films and the attraction of these films to the distributors who ultimately will be releasing them. Discover the art and the challenge of Independent Film Distribution.
Panelists will include filmmaker Rick McKay (Broadway: The Golden Age) with distributor, Bob Myerson, President of Dada Films; filmmaker Mark J. Gordon (Her Majesty) with distributor, Stuart Strutin, President of Panorama Entertainment Corp. and filmmakers Ryan Little and Adam Abel (Saints and Soldiers) with distributor, Dean Hale, head of Motion Picture Division, Excel Entertainment.
Panel will be followed by a question and answer session in the theatre.
