How do love and friendship engender hope? This powerful and dramatic film uses flashbacks to tell the story of friendship between five women who experienced a brutal crime that has marked their lives. Manon, who is 32, wants to pursue a fledgling relationship and calls upon her friends for the emotional support she needs. Ghyslaine Côté (Stony Brook Grand Prize winner, "Meanwhile," 2000) expertly directs a first-rate cast in this moving, French-Canadian drama. Written by Chantel Cadieux and Ghyslaine Côté. Produced by Richard Lalonde and Maxime Rémillard. Cinematographer: Alexis Durant-Brault. A Séville Pictures film.
