Love, Ludlow

Friday, July 29 at 7:00 pm

U.S.A. - 96 minutes

Written by David Paterson. Directed by Adrienne J. Weiss

With David Eigenberg (Sex and the City), Alicia Goranson (Boy’s Don’t Cry, TV’s Roseanne) and Brendan Sexton III (Boys Don’t Cry, Blackhawk Down, Empire Records).

A film out of Sundance ’05, full of astonishing performances and with a cheerful bent to the days of old romantic comedies, Love, Ludlow is a crowd-pleasing film.

When Myra agrees to date the charming but vulnerable Reggie, her eccentric brother Ludow is threatened, forcing Myra to finally take charge of her own life. When Reggie comes knocking we begin a 36-hour comedic tug of war that rages in Myra's and Ludlow's cramped one bedroom apartment. Ultimately Reggie takes the biggest risk of this life and Ludlow discovers that acceptance affords him a measure of diginity.
