Rancid

Rancid opens with the police investigating a grisly murder. The crime scene is a mansion in New York City. The suspenseful plot unfolds from there, focusing on the main character John Hayson, who was once a promising writer and now gets by on the odd writing job and part-time work. Dispassionate about the world and living his life in limbo, everything changes as he tries to avoid arrest.

Rancid takes exciting twists and turns as Hayson finds himself embroiled in a nightmarish brew of deceit, passion and murder. Written by Jack, Patrik, and Jesper Ersgard. Produced by Peter Possne, Brad Southwick and Jack Ersgard. Cinematographer: Kjell Lagerroos. A Sonet Film.
