Written and directed by Stewart Wade

With Jonathan Bray,Wilson Cruz,
Jonathan Silverman, Sally Kirkland,
Deborah Gibson
Coffee Date is a comic cup of sexual confusion
prompted by a practical joke. As a result of his
brother’s prank, Todd, who is straight, ends up
on a blind date with Kelly, a gay man. Looking
to beat his brother at his own game, Todd
brings his date home and pretends to end it on
a “great” note. Like
all jokes taken too
far, this one backfires,
leaving Todd
on a quest to
discover the truth
about love, life,
and friendship.
Produced by Cindy Peters and Stewart Wade.
Cinematographer: Howard Wexler.
