Mojave Phone Booth

Sunday, July 23 at 9:30 pm
New York Premiere–U.S.A.–88 minutes
Directed by John Putch

With Annabeth Gish, Steve Guttenberg, Christine Elise McCarthy, Robert Romanus, Tinarie Van Wyk Loots, Kevin Rahm, David DeLuise, Missi Pyle, Joy Gohring, Larry Poindexter, Jacleen Haber.

Based on a real phone booth that existed for years deep in the Mojave desert, this film is John Putch's spare, experimental exploration of the lives of six strangers whose lives intersect at this titular telephone, where they reveal to an unseen caller their hopes, dreams, fears and stories. Featuring a stellar cast led by Steve Guttenberg and Annabeth Gish, and inspired in part by the minimalist "Dogme 95" movement, Mojave Phone Booth takes a look at how interrelated our lives are, even if we don't always know it. Written by John Putch and Jerry Rapp. Produced by John Putch, Jerry Jacobs and Jerry Rapp. Cinematographer: Keith J. Duggan, SOC.
