The screening of the quirky dark comedy Expiration Date was attended by Sascha Knopf, who played Bessie in the film, and Rick Stevenson, the director. Both participated in a Q&A after the screening. The film receives an Audience Special Recognition
POPE DREAMS
The feature Pope Dreams receives a Jury Special Recognition. Pope Dreams was written and directed by P. Patrick Hogan who attended the screening at Stony Brook with his producer Steve Loh.
Grace, directed by Camille Cellucci, a story of a child interrupting a woman’s last desperate act received a Jury Recognition and The Ballad of the Purple Clam, a short stop-motion animation film directed and animated by Adam Fisher received an Audience Recognition.
