Man in the Chair
Monday, July 23, 7:00 pm
N.Y. Premiere—U.S.A.—107 minutes
Written and Directed by Michael Schroeder.

With Christopher Plummer,
Michael Angarano, M. Emmett Walsh,
Robert Wagner
Cameron Kincaid (Michael Angarano) is a
rebellious teenager. He is also a fanatical film
buff who longs to be an important filmmaker
but seems more likely to end up in prison than
on a film set.
Cameron pursues his filmmaking dream when
he enters a prestigious student competition
that offers the winner a scholarship to the Los
Angeles Film School. He enlists the assistance
of a reluctant retired gaffer named Flash
(Christopher Plummer), the only surviving crew
member from the legendary film, Citizen Kane.
Flash taps into the unused talent of his elderly
retired filmmaker friends at the Motion Picture
Retirement Home, persuading them to help
Cameron with his film. A tour de force performance
by Plummer should have people talking
around Oscar time. Produced by Michael
Schroeder, Sarah Schroeder and Randy Turrow.
Director of Photography: Dana Gonzales.
