No God No Master

World Premiere—U.S.A.—94 minutes

Written and directed by Terry Green. With David Strathairn, Ray Wise, Sam Witwer, James Madio, Alessandro Mario, Sean McNall, Edoardo Ballerini, Mariana Klaveno, Mariann Mayberry, David Darlow and Dan Mooney.

When a series of package bombs show up on the doorsteps of prominent politicians and businessmen in the summer of 1919, U.S. Bureau of Investigation Agent William Flynn (David Strathairn) is assigned the task of finding those responsible. He becomes immersed in an investigation that uncovers an anarchist plot to destroy democracy, setting the stage for a timely drama with resoundingly similar parallels to the contemporary war on terrorism and the role government plays to defeat it.

Director Terry Green notes, "The disintegration of civil liberties during times of social unrest is nothing new in America. I set out to make a film about the Sacco and Vanzetti saga, the Anarchist movement they belonged to, and the cause they dedicated their lives to advancing. Like all stories that need to be understood at the mythic level, this is part of a nation's history that should inform the present era and future of the country."

Behind the Orange Curtain

East Coast Premiere—U.S.A.—85 minutes

A documentary directed by Brent Huff. Written by Brent Huff and Zac Titus. With Aisha Armer, Jodi Barber and Geoff Blaylock.

Behind the Orange Curtain delves into the staggering problem of teenage drug abuse in one of the most affluent counties in the country. Young, privileged teenagers are dying of drug overdoses in record numbers in Orange County, California. Many of these tragic deaths are from pain medications including Opana, OxyContin and Hydrocodone. Who are the doctors that are giving these teenagers the lethal prescriptions? What drives teenagers to take them? Is it online bullying and social networks? Peer pressure? Low self esteem? Is it easier to find drugs if you have money? Do "rich kids" have more temptation? These are questions the filmmakers explore in this hard-hitting documentary.

Produced by Zac Titus. Director of Photography: Derek Bauer.

King, Joan Osborne, Shawn Colvin, Dion, Leiber and Stoller, and B.B. King.
