The Stony Brook Film Festival presented by island
Federal Credit Union showcases the best in independent film premieres over ten
stimulating days. All screen in the evening (and earlier on weekends) in Staller
Center’s main stage theatre at Stony Brook University.
You’ll experience talented performances by stars of the future and also see some
familiar faces. Among them, Marion Cotillard, Catherine Deneuve, Harris Yulin,
Senta Berger, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen, as well as the voices of Jim
Broadbent, Brenda Blethyn and Luke Treadaway.
Stony Brook Film Festival invites filmmakers to represent their films and
participate in question and answer sessions after screenings. You’ll hear from
directors, actors, producers and crew from all over the world. See which films
win accolades by buying tickets to the Closing Night Awards reception held in
the Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery on the first floor of Staller Center for the
