On the eve of the 21st century, a Mauritanian  filmmaker living in France goes back to Sokolo, a small village in Mali, to join his  father.  There he runs into Nana, a young girl also visiting from the village.  Thus  begins a contemplation on the never healed relationship between Africa and  Europe.  (In French with English Subtitles).
