Directed by Alain Berliner. Albert runs a chips
stand on the linguistic border that divides Belgium into North and South.
With each order of chips, he hands his customers a fortune-cookie like
message. On the dawn of the third millennium people have lined
the streets hoping to get a glimpse of what lies ahead from Albert's
fortunes. But when Albert arrives at his stand on New Year's Eve,
he discovers that his stand has been divided by a wall that separates
Northern Belgium from Southern Belgium. From the acclaimed director
of Ma Vie en Rose.
(In French/ Flemish with English Subtitles).
