(631) 632-ARTS (2787)

Stony Brook University, Long Island, New York

The Stony Brook Film Festival presented by Island Federal is your opportunity to see the best in
Independent features and short films from the U.S. and around the world.

You'll experience the first screening in America of dramas and comedies from Germany, Israel,
the United Kingdom, France and India as over twenty countries are represented at this year's
festival. Many of the U.S. films that will screen throughout the ten days will be World, U.S. and
East Coast premieres.

Join us for these stimulating, thought provoking and delightful new films in Staller Center's Main
Stage Theatre. You'll see some of the world's best actors, directed by world class filmmakers in
unique and extraordinary stories. Cast and crew from many of these films will be on hand to host
question and answer sessions following screenings and discuss the many aspects of the
creative process.

Film goers will vote on their favorite films throughout the festival and play a role in choosing the
Audience Choice Awards presented at the Awards Reception following the closing night film in the
adjacent Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery.

The best way to experience the Stony Brook Film Festival is to buy a Festival pass for only $90.
See all films over 10 days and receive many passholder perks. Buy a Gold Pass and sit in the
reserved section of the theatre with filmmakers and guests and receive tickets to attend the
Opening Night Party and Closing Night Awards Reception. Whether you purchase tickets for a few
films or take advantage of the heavily discounted passes, you will be taken on an adventure you
will not soon forget. Once you've attended Long Island's premier summer event, you will be back.
