Stony Brook Film Festival

 

The Stony Brook Film Festival showcases the best in independent film premieres over ten stimulating days.  All films screen July 17-26 in Staller Center’s Main Stage Theatre at Stony Brook.

You’ll experience talented performances by stars of the future and also see some familiar faces.  The Stony Brook Film Festival invites filmmakers to represent their films and participate in question and answer sessions after screenings. You’ll hear from directors, actors, producers and cast and crew from all over the world.

Who:
The Stony Brook Film Festival is produced by Staller Center for the Arts, a large performance venue on the campus of Stony Brook University.

What:
The Stony Brook Film Festival will be in its 30th year in 2025. The festival is being held July 18-27. All features are paired with a short film, and most films will feature an in-person Q&A  with filmmakers. Attendees are invited to vote on the films each night and the winners are announced at the closing night awards ceremony.

Where:
The Staller Center for the Arts, located at Stony Brook University, in Stony Brook, New York, is proud to present the Stony Brook Film Festival.
